Join Velo Vermont for our third annual Spring Roll on Saturday May 12, 2018; It's not a race, rather a mixed-surface bicycle ride. Distance is about 35 miles with 3,311 feet of climbing, for those counting.
There are harder, colder and faster spring events than the Spring Roll and while we love a good suffer-fest, the Spring Roll is not that. The pace will be casual. It's strategiclly a little later in the season to give us better odds for some warm sun and May flowers. This is just a good tough early season ride with friends. Everyone is welcome; bring whatever bike you've got and celebrate the spring season.
We've decided to deviate slightly from our no fees/no frills event strategy and offer $15 reg fees that gets you a jambon-beurre from the fine folks at Red Hen Baking. There is a veg option - hummus which is actually delicious.
To reserve a sandwich please register at bikereg (otherwise we won't know how many to get and you will be sad when everyone is eating one but you).

There is a service fee such is modern life - but we are splitting it with you.
This is a self-supported ride, you will have your sandwich to bring along, and there will be an stop at Northfield's Good Measure Brewing/Carrier Coffee for some mid-ride treats.
There will be pavement, graded dirt roads, and some unmaintained class 4 road. We will have cue sheets printed at the sign-in table.
Parking is at the Middlesex park & ride, just off exit 9 I-89. Middleground/Red Hen is just down the road, east on Route 2.
Arrival at 10:30am - spring rolling at 11:00am.
We hope to see you there!
True Love,
Velo Vermont
